Ah! Crochet!
I do love to crochet!
I so badly want to start another ripple blanket...
...or another granny square blanket...
...or another granny stripe...
But I have this giant mixed stitch blanket to finish.
It's not that I don't love it, because I really do.
But it is big. Really big. Too big.
I started it as a bed blanket, to go on our double bed.
It is wide enough for a super-king!! I don't know HOW that happened!
Obviously my measuring skills need some work!
So I am plodding on, because I know if I start something else crocheted, that this massive blanket will get shoved behind the sofa again.
I will need to order another Lucy pack of stylecraft soon though!!
Hehe! Love yarn deliveries!

DeleteI love your blanket - please keep on it's just fab x
ReplyDeleteOk! I will!!
DeleteAbsolutely lovely! I'm using the special colour pack of Stylecraft DK on mine, too. It's a great combination for the mixed stripes. I need to get back to it. It isn't going to crochet itself!
ReplyDeleteHi, just popped over to your blog to have a look at your blanket, it looks so much like mine! I do love that stylecraft pack :)
ReplyDeleteMaravillosa! me encanta la combinaciĆ³n de los colores, animo porque va a quedarte espectacular!
ReplyDeleteun abrazo
Ohhh. me too. I got mine on Monday....1.6KG of yarn. I haven't a clue what to do with it so I'll just look at it for a while :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your blanket. I can fully comiserate with you on the temptation of starting a new project. You are obviously made of stronger stuff than me as I give in to temptation every time....then again I'm still sticking to my new years resolution of ' if I want to start a new project every day then I will!"
